Family Life First is a registered charity (Charity No 1239) established in 1996 with Institute of Public Character (IPC) status.

We exists to enrich & empower you by meeting & enhancing your physical, emotional & psychological needs.

FLF is committed to provide welfare services, intervention support and social assistance to individuals, families and the underprivileged.

 MacRitchie Hiking Trip

During the March holidays we brought our beneficiaries on a hiking trip at MacRitchie Nature Reserve where we took learning out of the four walls of the classroom.

We kickstart our Book Treat Tuition 2016 with an awesome time of games and a welcome dinner. We have expanded to a total of 30 students and are grateful to have 8 new volunteer-tutors onboard! Thank you Toa Payoh Central Zone 1 RC for opening up another centre for us!

Family Life Fiesta 2016

Family Life First celebrated our 20th year of community services at our Family Life First Fiesta 2016, 11 June 2016 (9am – 3pm). We were pleased to have Assoc Prof Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim as our Guest-of-Honour. It was a day of fun for all ages with the carnival games, various live performances and food! Love was in the air as 11 couples renewed their marriage vows to one another!

Aberdeen Family Day Carnival 

It was a fun time for our beneficiaries at the Aberdeen Family Day Carnival, held on the 20 August 2016, 6pm to 9pm at Bukit Batok West Ave 6. This event was fully sponsored by Aberdeen Asset Management Charitable Foundation, whereby our beneficiaries enjoyed the games, exciting rides and food from the Uncle Ringo carnival. We also invited beneficiaries from Thye Hwa Kuan Senior Activity Centre (Toa Payoh), Life Community Services Society, and Project Goodwill Aid. A total of 198 people attended this event.

Book Treats Tutors’ Day Celebration

We celebrated our “Book Treats” Tutor’s Day Celebration on the 30 August 2016, and a total of 35 students and 13 tutors enjoyed a sumptuous meal of KFC. This appreciation meal was to commemorate our tutors for their efforts and commitment in mentoring our students, both academically and psychologically.

Mid- Autumn Festival Celebration 2016

A total of 20 students from our “Book Treat” tuition programme participated in the Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration 2016, organized by Toa Payoh Central Grassroots Organisation on 10 September 2016, 6pm – 9pm at Toa Payoh Amphitheatre. Participants were given goodie bags, lanterns, tea appreciation, hands-on balloon sculpting and clay art. MP of the Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, Mr Ng Eng Hen graced this event.
